Eat to Starve Cancer? What a great idea!

Just watched this video from TED.com and was really impressed. Not a video related to identity management but more one that encourages us to apply a few enjoyable eating habits to help reduce our risk of cancer forming in our bodies. As always, very impressed with TED and the speakers they provide to the public.

New Idea for Multi-Factor Authentication - PassWindow

Patrick in our office shot me the link to this really novel and innovative method of inexpensively providing multi-factor authentication or one-time passwords. The PassWindow product provides a personal card that acts like a "secret decoder" ring by allowing the holder of the card to see a one-time password for use on websites, credit cards and any other application that needs to protect from keyloggers, dictionary attacks etc.

Check it out, should be a snap to integrate with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) or Sun's Access Manager products. I'd be very interested in hearing others views on this solution.

Apollo 11 - Relive the Dream

It is really cool all the efforts going into celebrating the anniversary of mankind's journey to the moon. The website: Wechoosethemoon.org provides a wonderful re-play of the full Apollo Mission which is a great way to relive the excitement and anticipation and stress of the times.

It brings back wonderful memories and helps us remember that we as a people can aspire to perform great acts of courage when we place our collective minds and energies behind a vision.

Congratulations to the thousands and thousands of people who teamed together to bring about this great achievement.

TED - High-tech Wing Suit

We have been following the wonderful presentations of innovative and challenging ideas by the speakers that meet at the annual TED conferences. Here is one of those purely for fun and thrilling presentations on the extreme sport of skydiving in a wing suit. The suit permits the diver to come as close to flying as is humanly possible without mechanical aids. Check it out and other fascinating presentations at TED.
